Alanna C. Burke (born Alanna Carroll Burke, July 31, 1952, Worcester, Massachusetts, U.S.A), American poet and business manager for her husband, the artist William Berra. She has been writing haiku and haibun since 2011, and her work has been published in print and online periodicals including Modern Haiku, Frogpond, Bottle Rockets, Kingfisher, The Heron’s Nest, Autumn Moon Haiku Journal, Wild Plum, Creatrix, Shamrock, and Prune Juice. A member of the Santa Fe Haiku Study Group, she coedited the group’s chapbook, Open Spaces, which was distributed to attendees of Haiku North America 2017. She has lived in Santa Fe, New Mexico, since 1985.
