Amy Ostenso-Kennedy (born Amy Elizabeth Ostenso, October 18, 1967, Torrance, California, U.S.A.), American writer and editor who has worked for over 20 years in educational publishing, currently with National Geographic Learning. She is an active member of the Yuki Teikei Haiku Society, serving as the editor or coeditor with Phillip Kennedy of three YTHS members’ anthologies: Hanami Dango (2017), Nesting Dolls (2018), and Lost Pinwheel (2019). Her work appears in Geppo and the YTHS members’ anthologies. She participated in the renku “From Branch to Branch,” which won the Grand Prize in the Haiku Society of America’s Bernard Lionel Einbond Renku Contest in 2018. Ostenso-Kennedy lives in Monterey, California.
