Antoaneta Nikolova (Bulgarian Cyrillic: Антоанета Николова; born June 26, 1961, Sofia, Bulgaria). Holds a PhD in philosophy and is employed as associate professor in history of philosophy at the Neofit Rilski South-West University in Blagoevgrad, Bulgaria. She teaches Eastern philosophy and comparative religion and translates classical Chinese poetry. Her haiku have been included in anthologies and journals in Bulgarian, English, Japanese, Romanian and Hungarian. Nikolova is a member of the Association of Bulgarian Writers, the Bulgarian Haiku Union, Haiku Club Sofia, and the World Haiku Association, and she frequently organizes international haiku conferences. She resides in Sofia, Bulgaria, and Dresden, Germany.
