Azi Kuder (born Izabela Renczyńska-Kuder; August 11, 1960, Sopot, Poland) holds a degree in humanities and is a writer, haiku and haiga poet as well as a painter. She is a cofounder and coeditor of Haiku Port: Magazyn literacko-artystyczny / Literary and Artistic Journal (2018–2019). Her haiku and haiga are published widely have been honored in domestic and international haiku contests. She published a chapbook of haiku and haiga, Zapach haiku (The Scent of Haiku), in 2018. Kuder has played a key role in initiatives to promote haiku in Poland, for example as cofounder of the Sopot Haiku Workshop and as lead instructor for the beginners’ Warsztaty Haiku abc (ABC Haiku Workshop) on Facebook for several years. She is a member of the Polish Haiku Association and the World Haiku Association. She lives in Gdynia, Poland.
