Beverly Acuff Momoi, 2015

Beverly Acuff Momoi (born 1951, Memphis, Tennessee, U.S.A), writer, editor, and haikai and tanka poet. Her 2012 haibun collection, Lifting the Towhee’s Song, was a Snapshot Press eChapbook Award winner, and her collection of haiku, how the wind sighs, was shortlisted for a 2023 Touchstone Distinguished Book Award. She has had her haiku anthologized in A New Resonance 9 (2015), Haiku 2024The Wonder CodeWishbone Moon, and others, as well as members’ anthologies of American, Canadian, and British organizations.  She served as 2nd vice president of the Haiku Society of America from 2017 to 2019, panelist for The Haiku Foundation’s Touchstone Distinguished Book Awards from 2019 to 2021, and currently newsletter editor for the Haiku Poets of Northern California. She resides in Mountain View, California.
