
Brad Bennett (born Brad Alan Bennett, September 1, 1960, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, U.S.A.), American elementary school teacher, haiku instructor, and haiku poet. He is cofounder of the Broadmoor Haiku Collective and former member of the Alewife Brook Haiku Group, Summer Street Haiku Group, and the Boston Haiku Society. His work has been recognized in many national and international haiku contests, and his haiku and senryu have been honored in the Kaji Also Studio Haiku Contest in Boston in six different years. He has been featured poet in Cattails, Modern Haiku, A New Resonance, and Mann Library’s Daily Haiku web page. He is the author of two haiku collections, a drop of pond (2016), for which he won a Touchstone Distinguished Book Award, and a turn in the river (2019). He has resided in Arlington, Massachusetts, since 1986.
