Chad Lee Robinson (born July 8, 1980, Pierre, South Dakota, U.S.A.), grocery store manager and haiku, senryu, and tanka poet. Robinson served as Midwest Region Coordinator for the Haiku Society of America (2006–2011 and 2014) and panelist for The Haiku Foundation’s Touchstone Distinguished Books Award (2013–2015). His published books of haiku include Pop Bottles (2009), Rope Marks (2012), The Deep End of the Sky (2015), and The White Buffalo (2023). Robinson’s work has received the best senryu of issue award from Modern Haiku (2006), The Heron’s Nest Readers’ Choice Awards Poem of the Year (2008) and Poet of the Year (2008 and 2020), the Touchstone Award for Individual Poems (2011, 2018, and 2022), and a Pushcart Prize nomination from Modern Haiku (2011). He resides in Pierre, South Dakota.
