Cynthia A. Henderson (born Cynthia Ann Kowalski, April 21, 1949, Acushnet, Massachusetts, U.S.A.), American teacher, bookkeeper, and haiku poet and organizer. With degrees in American literature and secondary education, she taught English in junior high school, then studied accounting and worked as executive assistant and bookkeeper—later vice president and co-owner—of a small manufacturing company until retirement. She first encountered haiku in 2013, was an original member of the Santa Fe Haiku Study Group, and is also a member of the Haiku Society of America and Haiku Canada. Henderson served on the organizing committee for Haiku North America 2017 as registrar, financial officer, and manager of the book fair. She has lived in Santa Fe, New Mexico, since 2014.
