David Grayson (born David Philip Grayson, June 29, 1969, San Francisco, California, U.S.A), product manager in an Internet firm, haiku poet, essayist, and editor. He is the author of Discovering Fire: Haiku & Essays (2016) and was a featured poet in A New Resonance 6: Emerging Voices in English-Language Haiku as well as the 2009 Two Autumns book, My Neighbor. He was editor of the Haiku Society of America 2016 Members’ Anthology (Full of Moonlight) and two editions of the Two Autumns book series: Moonlight Changing Direction (2008) and The Half-Finished Bridge (2014). He has served as president and vice president of the Haiku Poets of Northern California and is current editor of its magazine, Mariposa, as well as review editor for the Haiku Foundation’s Juxtapositions. Grayson participates in the Haiku Society of America Mentorship Program and resides in Alameda, California.
