Frances Angela (born January 17, 1950, Bolton, Lancashire, England), British play psychotherapist, now retired, and haiku poet. Her work has been widely published in journals and anthologies, and 19 of her haiku have been selected for various of the Red Moon anthologies. Her collection of haiku and haibun, Philip Street, won the Snapshot Press Chapbook Award in 2018, and Day Out, an e-chapbook of one-line haiku, was published by Otata’s Bookshelf in 2019. Angela’s other honors include a Touchstone Individual Haiku Poem Award (2017) and 2nd Place in the Martin Lucas Haiku Award (2020). She resides in London, U.K.
