
Jasminka Predojević (born Jasminka Đerek, June 4, 1959, Imotski, Croatia, [Yugoslavia]), retired bank employee and haiku poet. Graduated from gymnasium in Imotski, worked at Zagrebačka banka, Zagreb. She has received awards in Japanese haiku contests, including the Japanese A-Bomb Memorial Day 1999, the International Kusamakura Haiku Contest 2000, and the Ashiya International Haiku Festa 2000, as well as Honorable Mentions in the Mainichi Haiku Contest in 2007, 2008, 2010, 2016, and IAFOR Vladimir Devidé 2016. Her work also appears in domestic Croatian publications and contests. She is an editorial advisor to the Iris journal and judged the Ivanić-Grad contest for haiku and senryu in 2020. She lives in Zagreb.
