Julie Bloss Kelsey

Julie Bloss Kelsey (born Julie Ann Bloss, November 13, 1968, Denville, New Jersey, U.S.A.), naturalist, writer, and poet. She holds a Master of Environmental Management degree from Duke University and has worked as an environmental regulator. Currently, she is secretary of The Haiku Foundation and serves on its Board of Directors. Her poetry has won a Dwarf Stars Award of the Science Fiction and Fantasy Poetry Association, the Sonic Boom Annual Senryu Contest, and the Marlene Mountain Memorial Haiku Contest. Her work has been anthologized frequently, and her poetry chapbook, The Call of Wildflowers, was published in 2020. She resides in Germantown, Maryland.
