Kristen Lindquist

Kristen Lindquist (born Kristen Erica Lindquist, February 20, 1967, Bangor, Maine, U.S.A.), bookkeeper, freelance writer, naturalist, poet, and haiku poet and instructor. She earned an MFA in poetry from the University of Oregon and has published three collections of non-haiku poetry; her work has twice been nominated for a Pushcart Prize. Lindquist is a member of the Broadmoor Haiku Collective. She has been a featured poet in A New Resonance and Cornell University Mann Library’s Daily Haiku webpage. She is a book reviewer for Frogpond. Her chapbook It Always Comes Back was the winner of the 2020 Snapshot Press E-Chapbook Award. She has resided in Camden, Maine, for most of her life.
