Krzysztof Kokot (born September 16, 1949, Katowice, Poland), retired pharmacist, poet, and haiku organizer. He coorganized the 2nd (2015) International Haiku Conference, Kraków, Poland, and, together with Robert Kania, ran the European Kukai 2013–2023. He was the recipient of the Grand Prize, 3rd Vladimir Devidé Haiku Award, 2013, and First Place, Setouchi Matsuyama Haiku Photo Contest (Japan, 2013), among many other awards. He has published two volumes of haiku: Haiku Time (2012) and Around the Haiku (2017). Honorary Member of the Polish Haiku Association. He is the initiator of the International Picture Postcard project. Since 2010 Kokot has curated the European Top 100 Haiku Authors project, and he is the author of the Haikupedia article on that topic. He resides in Nowy Targ, Poland.
