Marcyn Del “Marcy” Clements (born Marcyn Del Morgan, January 1, 1940, Brawley, California, U.S.A.; adopted name Brown), retired American massage therapist and former assistant administrator of The Claremont Club in Claremont, Calif., as well as musician (recorders, Native American flutes, and harp); photographer; writer; poet; and haiku poet. With more than a thousand works in print, including longer poems, nonfiction, and photos, she has published haiku since the mid-1990s in the major American print journals and online since the early 2000s. She has won awards in Haiku Headlines and received an honorable mention in the haiku contest at Haiku North America 2017. Her collection Shinrin-Yoku: Poems and Prose appeared in 2021 and her memoir in verse, Komorebi, in 2025. She was one of three founding coeditors of the rengay journal Tandem (2021–2023). Clements has lived in Claremont, Calif., since 1975.
