Marilyn Humbert (born 1953, Victoria, Australia), retired pathology laboratory technician. Her haiku, haibun, rengay, sequences, and tanka and tanka prose can be found in international and Australian journals including Blithe Spirit, Presence, Akitsu Quarterly, Cattails, tsuri-dōrō, Chrysanthemum, Autumn Moon, Contemporary Haibun Online, Drifting Sands Haibun, The Haibun Journal, Echidna Tracks, Enchanted Garden, Failed Haiku, The Mamba, Neverendingstory, Seashores, The Bamboo Hut Haiku, The Pan Review, Under the Bashō, and Wales Haiku Journal. She is a member of White Pebbles Haiku Group (East Gosford, NSW) and the British Haiku Society, facilitator of Bottlebrush Tanka Group, and member of other tanka organizations. She serves on the Echidna Tracks editorial team, has coedited two issues of Echidna Tracks, and guest- or co-edited some issues of Drifting Sands Haibun. Humbert resides in Sydney, Australia.
