Michèle Boyle Turchi (born Michèle Elise Boyle, February 18, 1950, San Francisco, California, U.S.A.), real estate management company owner who started writing short-form poetry in 2008. She joined the Haiku Poets of Northern California in 2012 and the Yuki Teikei Haiku Society in 2019. Her haiku and haibun have been published in the HPNC member journal Mariposa and the YTHS work-study journal Geppo as well as the YTHS member anthologies. A rengay coauthored with Joan Zimmerman was featured in the British journal Presence. One of her poems was selected for inclusion in Lee Gurga and Scott Metz’s anthology Haiku 2020 and chosen for presentation on The Haiku Foundation’s Per Diem blog in 2022. Turchi’s work has also featured in the Berkeley Public Library’s Poem in your Pocket Day 2018, and she was a Featured Reader at the YTHS 2020 Spring Reading. She lives in Menlo Park, California.
