Mike Montreuil (born Michel Montreuil, November 2, 1958, Mattawa, Ontario, Canada), retired electronics technologist for the National Research Council of Canada, poet, editor, and publisher. He began writing poetry in 2001, and his haiku, tanka, and haibun, written in English and in French, have been published widely in print and online. He served as haibun editor of A Hundred Gourds from 2012 to 2015. The Neighbours Are Talking (2011), a haibun collection, and At the Edge (2017), an anthology of haibun from Raw NerVZ), were both shortlisted for The Haiku Foundation Touchstone Distinguished Book Awards. Montreuil currently edits Haiku Canada Review and is the publisher of the small press Éditions des petits nuages. He lives in Ottawa.
