Mona Larsen

Mona Larsen (born Mona Ellinor Larsen, 1948, Copenhagen, Denmark), jazz singer, composer, and lyricist. Member of the Danish Writers’ Association, Poetry and Haiku group since 2004. Larsen published her first haiku collection Bladene Drypper (The Leaves Drip), in 2007. She self-published 25 haiku in English and Danish, 2014, Peace in Ghent, 2015. She has been included in anthologies such as Handmade in Wingland, 2008, Blade i vinden, (Leaves in the wind) 2011, Danish Haiku Today 2012, Special Haiku Publication for Herman Van Rompuy, 2012, A Thousand Cranes–Haiku Peace in Ghent, 2015. Larsen won first prize in the Swedish Haiku Society’s Project in Journal Blå Eld, 2 2016. Resides in Charlottenlund, Denmark.
