Pier Luca Bandinelli (born July 30, 1960, Rome, Italy), Italian neurologist, psychiatrist, university professor, and haiku poet. He wrote the foreword for Alberto Sbardella’s book of haiku, Odore di parole (Scent of Words; 2001) and won 1st Prize at the 9th Cascina Macondo International Haiku Contest, 2011. Two collections of his work have been published: Riflessi d’Ombra: Haiku (Shadow Reflections: Haiku, 2013) and Le stanze dell’eco (The Rooms of the Echo; 2020). He resides in Rome, Italy.
