Shawn Blair (born 1968, Massachusetts, U.S.A.). American poet and designer of high-rise construction methods and systems. Since 2022 he has been publishing haiku, senryu, tanka, and kyōka in journals including Upstate Dim SumThe Heron’s NestModern HaikuWales Haiku JournalFrogpondAutumn MoonAkitsu Quarterlytsuri-dōrōFailed Haiku, and Prune Juice. He has won honors in the Golden Haiku Contest, Vancouver Cherry Blossom Festival Contest, and the Kaji Aso Studio International Haiku Contest as well as a best-of-volume Haiku Moment Award from Autumn Moon Haiku Journal. Blair is a member of the Haiku Society of America and, since 2024, the Route 9 Haiku Group. He resides in Cohoes, New York.
