Stephen Amor (born Stephen Lynn Amor, March 25, 1951, Fremont, Ohio, U.S.A.), retired factory worker. Since 2000 his haiku and senryu have appeared in print and online publications including The Heron’s Nest (garnering a Special Mention in the 2004 Valentine Awards), Frogpond, Modern Haiku, Acorn, Still, A Hundred Gourds, Ephemerae, Prune Juice, Failed Haiku, and tinywords. Work of his has been selected for the Red Moon Anthologies of 2001, 2004, and 2017; Lee Gurga and Scott Metz’s Haiku 21: An Anthology of Contemporary English-language Haiku (2011); Scott Mason’s The Wonder Code (2017), and Joshua Gage’s The Ohio Haiku Anthology (2020). Amor was a frequent participant in the Shiki Internet Kukai, 2000–2003, and a haiku of his won an Honorable Mention in the 2nd International Autumn Moon Haiku Contest (2015). He resides in Fremont, Ohio.
