Debbi Antebi (born 1983, Istanbul, Turkey), Spanish college counselor, writer, poet, and haiku poet living in the U.K. She was editor of The Brief, the newsletter of the British Haiku Society, in 2019 and 2020 and served as a BHS committee member for three years. Her work has appeared in a wide range of international print and online journals and anthologies, including the Red Moon Press’s A New Resonance series, and her haiku have been shortlisted for the THF Touchstone Awards for Individual Poems (2016, 2017, and 2018). She received the Grand Prize in The Heron’s Nest Readers’ Choice Awards and was designated Poet of the Year in 2018, and won 1st Prize in the 5th Golden Haiku Contest (Washington, D.C., 2018) among many other honors. Her chapbook, Between Light & Shadow: Haiku & Senryu, appeared in 2017. Antebi resides in London, England.

Elías Rovira Gil (born 1959, Albacete, La Mancha, Spain). Professor at the University of Castilla-La Mancha, doctor of Nursing. Vice-president and founder of the Association of the haiku people in Albacete (AGHA). Editor-in-chief of the haiku magazine Hojas en la Acera (Leaves on the Sidewalk) and member of the coordinating team of El Rincón del Haiku (The Haiku Corner). He has directed and organized international meetings and courses on haiku. Recipient of the Tsunenaga Hasekura Award for Best Haiku (2015) and the Elías Roldán prize at the Ateneo de Albacete for his book The Five Seasons. Enrique Linares (full name Enrique Linares Martí, born February 27, 1962, Valencia, Spain), works in telecommunications and as a flautist and multi-instrumentalist, and is as well a haiku poet, anthologist, and editor. He writes in both Spanish and Catalan. He has received several haiku awards, recently for the best haiku in Catalan in the 5th Haiku Barcelona contest, 2019. He is the founder and director of the print/online haiku magazine Hojas en la Acera (HELA; Leaves on the Sidewalk) and editor of Hojas de Té (Tea Leaves), a publisher of haiku books. Resides in Valencia.

Félix Arce (full name Félix Arce Araiz, born February 14, 1971, Bilbao, Spain; haigō: Momiji), librarian, poet, and haiga artist. His honors include a best haiku sequence award in the 2007 International Haiku Competition of Castille–La Mancha University and the 1st International Samurai Hasekura Prize of the Haiku International Association celebrating 400 years of Japanese–European relations. After returning from a period of residence in Nagasaki, Japan, Arce, together with Vicente Haya, Mercedes Pérez, and Manuel Díez Orzas, cofounded the online Escuela de Haiku Makoto (Makoto School of Haiku). Arce’s most recent book of haiku is Recogido en el agua (Collected in the Water). He divides his time between Soria and Noja (Cantabria), Spain.

Frutos Soriano (born January 17, 1960, Albacete, Spain), university librarian, playwright, and poet. Founder and president of AGHA, the Haijin Association of Albacete, which organizes haiku meetings and generally promotes the cause of haiku (for example by sponsoring the University of Castilla la Mancha Law Faculty’s International Haiku Competition and publishing the winners’ anthologies). He has published several haiku books, including Diarios de un logazán (2006; Logger’s Diaries). Resides in Albacete.
