Marjorie Buettner
Marjorie Buettner (born Marjorie Ann Junkert, September 14, 1951, Bismarck, North Dakota, U.S.A.), American haiku, haibun, tanka, and sijo poet. Has won prizes in the James W. Hackett International Award for Haiku, the Harold G. Henderson Awards, the Robert Spiess Memorial Haiku Award, the Robert Frost Poetry Festival, and the Kusamakura Haiku Competition. Taught haiku and tanka at The Loft Literary Center in Minneapolis and presented poetry workshops throughout Minnesota. Former editor for Contemporary Haibun Online and writes reviews for haiku and tanka journals. Lives in Chisago City, Minnesota.
