L. A. Davidson
L. A. Davidson (born Laura Agnes Devine, July 31, 1917, on a ranch near Roy, Montana, U.S.A; died July 18, 2007, New York, New York), American journalist and haiku poet and organizer. Charter member of the Haiku Society of America, vice president in 1976, subscription/membership secretary in 1979 and 1981, and treasurer in 1989–90; recipient of the HSA's inaugural Sora Award. Published three collections of haiku during her lifetime; two others appeared posthumously. Last resided in Greenwich Village, New York City.
