Mark Forrester (born Mark Alan Forrester, April 29, 1962, Trenton, New Jersey), a lecturer in professional writing and literature at the University of Maryland. Has published haikai in major print journals and online since 2012 and won special honors in Bottle Rockets and Mayfly Has work included in HSA and Haiku Canada members’ anthologies and was recognized in the Murtha Senryu Contest, the HSA Haibun Awards, and the inaugural Whispers of Nature International Haiku Contest. Nominated for a Touchstone Award and received a Golden Pea Award. Published two chapbooks: The World Disappears and Dreamer’s Moon. Lives in Hyattsville, Maryland.
