Established in 1976, the Haiku Society of America’s Harold G. Henderson Haiku Awards have been given out each year for the best English-language haiku submitted to the contest. As one of the oldest haiku contests in the West and open to the public, the Henderson Awards enjoy pride of place among English-language haiku contests.
