Howard Lee Kilby
Howard Lee Kilby (born December 28, 1943, Hot Springs National Park, Arkansas, U.S.A.), retired employee of the U.S. Postal Service and the Oaklawn Jockey Club, as well as haiku poet, officer, and promoter. Cofounder of the Arkansas Haiku Society and its current president. Secretary of the Haiku Society of America from 1999-2002 and HSA South Region coordinator from 2004-2010; organizes annual haiku conferences. Publishes in the leading American journals and the members’ anthologies of the HSA and Haiku Canada. Writes a haiku column for Ouachita Life magazine in Benton, Ark. Resides in Hot Springs, Arkansas.
