John J. Dunphy (born John Joseph Dunphy, December 8, 1953, Alton, Illinois, U.S.A.), American community college teacher (retired), bookseller, author, and haikai poet. Has published six collections of haikai and haiku-related poetry and has work in several topical anthologies. Judge in the HSA Henderson and Brady awards. Founded the Mississippi Mud Daubers haiku poets group. Resides in Godfrey, Illinois.
