Joseph Kirschner
Joseph Kirschner (born December 5, 1930, Dallas, Texas; died February 27, 2021, Hartly, Delaware), American professor of the history of education., he was an active member of the Haiku Society of America, served as its Midwest Region Coordinator, and participated in HSA members’ anthologies, coediting the 2009 edition. Cofounder of Chi-ku, the Chicago-area Haiku Group and co-organizer of the 1999 Haiku North America conference. Published two haiku and senryu collections and an anthology of dream haiku and analyses. Longtime resident of Evanston, Illinois; last resided in Hartly, Delaware.
