LeRoy Gorman
LeRoy Gorman (born August 7, 1949, Smiths Falls, Ontario, Canada). Retired from a 38-year teaching career with the Ontario Ministry of Correctional Services and the Algonquin and Lakeshore Catholic District School Board. Gorman’s haikai and other poetry, much of it minimalist and visual, has appeared in publications and exhibitions worldwide. Author of two dozen poetry books and chapbooks. Past editor of Haiku Canada Publications, and for his service was recognized as a Life Member of Haiku Canada. Served as honorary curator of the American Haiku Archives in 2012–2013. Now publishes poetry leaflets and postcards under his PawEpress imprint. Resides in Napanee, Ontario.
