Marco Fraticelli (born June 16, 1945, Montreal, Quebec, Canada), retired elementary and high school teacher, musician, and poet. Publishing since 1977, has produced five books of haiku, two books of haibun, a children’s novel, and numerous chapbooks. Served as an executive member of Haiku Canada (1988–2014) and editor/publisher of The Alchemist (1974–1987). Published the Hexagram Series of chapbooks. Founder and editor of the Haiku Canada Electronic Newsletter. Recognized internationally for his haiku, books, and community service, he provides keynote addresses, reads at community and poetry events, facilitates workshops, and judges haiku contests. Resides in Pointe Claire, Quebec.
