Marshall Hryciuk (born Marshall John Louis Hryciuk, August 23, 1951, Hamilton, Ontario, Canada), Canadian writer and poet in several forms and genres, notably haiku and renku. He has held a variety of jobs in the book publishing industry, including warehouse supervisor, bookstore buyer, sales representative for a literary publisher, and president of a trade book wholesaler. Hryciuk served as president of Haiku Canada in 1990–1998. His haiku have been honored in Japan-based competitions, including the Ashiya International Haiku Festa Awards, the Asahi Newspaper Awards, and the International Kusamakura Haiku Competition, as well as the Croatian International Kloštar Ivanić Haiku Contest. He has published 11 books and chapbooks and dozens of broadsheets and mini-chapbooks. Hryciuk has led more than 50 renku sessions, with the results published in Haiku Canada Review or as Haiku Canada broadsheets. He resides in Toronto, Ontario.
