Matthew Moffett (born Matthew Jacob Moffett, December 14, 1987, Wyandotte, Michigan, U.S.A.), writing instructor at Central Michigan University and haikai poet. Since 2015 his haibun and haiku, especially one-liners, have appeared in print journals including Modern Haiku, Frogpond, and Acorn as well as online publications such as The Heron’s Nest, Moongarlic, Tinywords, Under the Bashō, and CHO. Has work included in The Red Moon Anthology 2017, Gurga and Metz’s, Haiku 2022, and A New Resonance 12 (2021). Lives in Mt. Pleasant, Michigan.
