Franjo Ordanić
Franjo Ordanić (born on February 11, 1973, Laupheim, West Germany), Croatian haiku poet. Holds a Master’s degree from the Faculty of Traffic Engineering in Zagreb and is a successful businessman. Ordanić was one of the founders of the annual Haiku kraj Mogile (Haiku at Mogila) gatherings and has coordinated their haiku and haiga competitions. In 2016, jointly with Vladimir Šuk, he published a haiku collection, Kliktaj bradatih orlova / The Scream of the Bearded Eagles. He won the Ivanić-Grad haiku contest in 2018. Together with photographer Sandra Šamec, he also publishes photo haiga in Daily Haiga, Black and White Haiga, Iris, Under the Bashō, Cattails, Failed Haiku, Chrysanthemum, and The Haiku Foundation Haiga Gallery and has participated in four exhibitions. Active in sports and cultural affairs, Ordanić lives in Oroslavje, Croatia.
