Stella Pierides (born August 21, 1952, Athens, Greece), retired British psychotherapist, poet, writer, and artist. Her haikai have been published internationally. Her collections In the Garden of Absence and Of This World were honored in the HSA Merit Book Awards. Featured in A New Resonance 10 (2017) among other anthologies. Served on The Haiku Foundation Board of Directors (2014–2024); managed Per Diem: Daily Haiku (2012–2018), and participated in the Haiku and Brain project (2015–). Conceived and coordinated the feature Haiku for Parkinson’s (2024). Founding managing editor of Haikupedia (2019–2020). Resides in Neusäß, Germany, and London, U.K.
