A. A. Marcoff (born Anthony Alexei Marcoff, December 30, 1956, Tehran, Iran). British retired mental health professional, now a mainstream poet and writer of minimalist poetry mainly working in tanka and tanka prose. With interests in Zen, mysticism, and philosophy, he has been writing haiku since 1968, and he has been anthologized in John Barlow and Martin Lucas, The New Haiku (2002) and Jim Kacian, Haiku in English: the First Hundred Years (2013). His tanka prose poem ”the moon & memory” won the Presence best-of-issue award in 2017. His two-volume book of tanka prose poems river of the world, a kind of poetic autobiography, appeared in 2019. Marcoff has lived in Africa, Iran, France, and Japan, and now resides in Leatherhead, Surrey, England.

Alan Summers (born Alan John Summers, September 16, 1956, London, England). Cofounder, and full-time Lead Tutor for haikai-based Call of the Page. A double Japan Times award-winning writer, Summers was filmed by NHK Television (Japan) for “Europe meets Japan – Alan's Haiku Journey.” He is a Pushcart Prize-nominated poet for haiku and haibun, and Best Small Fictions nominated for haibun. He is President of the United Haiku & Tanka Society, former General Secretary of the British Haiku Society, and Editor Emeritus for the multi-award-winning Red Moon Anthologies for best haikai literature 2000–2005. Resides in Chippenham, England.

Andrew Shimield (born July 21, 1954, Shrewsbury, U.K.), self-employed, semi-retired decorator. He served as treasurer on the British Haiku Society committee and currently holds the role of mentor for new members and organizer of local meetings for the London Haiku Group. He has published two chapbooks, Even in November (2006) and a little rain (2017) and edited the BHS members’ anthologies Storm (2007) and Wild (2018). Shimield resides in West London.

Brendon Kent (born February 1, 1958, Southampton, England), British haiku and haiga poet, a member of the British Haiku Society and the World Haiku Association and Assistant Editor of My Haiku Pond. Won success in the Vancouver Cherry Blossom Festival Contest and the Golden Haiku Contest and was listed in The European Top 100 most creative haiku authors in 2015, 2016, 2017 and 2019. Anthologized in Yanty’s Butterfly, Ekphrasis: The British Haiku Society Members’ Anthology, All the Way Home: Aging in Haiku, and two Red Moon anthologies. His haiku collection Moon on Water published in 2018. Resides in Southampton, U.K.

Caroline Skanne (born April 15, 1978, Stockholm, Sweden), poet, photographer/artist, editor, and publisher. Skanne is the founder and editor of hedgerow: a journal of small poems and founder and publisher of wildflower poetry press. She has edited Blithe Spirit, the journal of the British Haiku Society, since 2019. Resides in Upnor, by the river Medway, Kent, U.K.
