Elizabeth Crocket (born Elizabeth Kewley, 1956, Toronto, Ontario), Canadian poet, photo haiga artist, and author widely published in journals in North America, Europe, and Japan. Placed second in the 2019 H. Gene Murtha Memorial Senryu Contest and was highly commended in 2023. Has published eight haiku books. Won the photographic category of the 2nd Jane Reichhold Haiga Competition (2017). Her collage and photo haiga have been honored in contests and featured in online galleries and outdoor public displays. Judged the Nicholas A. Virgilio Memorial Haiku and Senryu Contest. Resides in Burlington, Ontario.

Francine Chicoine (born April 21, 1945, Saint-Hyacinthe, Québec, Canada), Canadian editor, publisher, educator, and haiku poet. She founded (2000) and directed les Éditions Tire-Veille (Collection Haïkusie) the Camp littéraire de Baie-Comeau (Baie-Comeau Literary Camp), which from 2004 to 2015 brought together haiku poets from around Canada; and the succeeding École national de haiku (National Haiku School). For 15 years Chicoine was responsible for the Voix Intérieures–Haïku series at Éditions David. She has contributed to more than 40 journals and multi-authored works and edited more than 60 anthologies and individual collections. She resides in Baie-Comeau, Québec.

Ignatius Fay (born Ignatius Charles Peter Fay, March 30, 1950, Sudbury, Ontario, Canada; died November 5, 2022, Sudbury), Canadian invertebrate paleontologist, graphic designer, poet, author, and editor and publisher. Author of a two-volume anecdotal autobiography; coauthor of three poetry collections, a coffee table art book of Canadian scenery, and a thriller novel centered on a conflict between vampires and Native Haida mythology. Edited the email newsletter for the Haiku Society of America and layout artist for HSA publications. Founding editor of Tandem: The Rengay Journal. Ontario regional coordinator for Haiku Canada.

Jacquie Pearce (born Jacqueline Mary Pearce, January 27, 1962, Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada), haiku poet and author of twelve books for children. Coeditor of The Jade Pond, the Vancouver Haiku Group anthology, and editor of Last Train Home, an international anthology of train-themed poetry. Resides in Burnaby, British Columbia.

Jeanne Painchaud (born July 12, 1962, Montréal, Québec, Canada), Canadian writer of works for young people, screenwriter, artist, and poet. Since 1997 she has published five volumes of haiku, the most recent also serving as an introduction to the art of writing haiku. She has contributed to more than 30 anthologies, and in 2013 she won the International Grand Prize in the Mainichi Haiku Contest. Painchaud also gives haiku workshops in libraries and schools, and has produced multidisciplinary projects to showcase haiku, such as exhibits, urban haiku walks, and haiku hopscotch grids. With her haiku presentations, she has traveled widely, including trips to Japan, Belgium, and Senegal. She lives in Montréal.
