Bjarne Kim Pedersen (born November 5, 1955, Gauerslund, Denmark), poet, writer, storyteller, teacher, and publisher. He has published six books of haiku-like poems, including Verden lige nu: sms haiku digte (The World Right Now: SMS Haiku Poems) in 2006 and My Maidan Affair (2016) in Danish, English, and Ukrainian. Pedersen writes short political poems that he shares on Twitter, one of which has been retweeted more than 900,000 times. He served as secretary of the Haiku Group of the Danish Authors’ Society. Resides in Otterup, Denmark.

Hanne Hansen (born October 28, 1944, Copenhagen, Denmark), retired high school teacher and poet. She has published 12 books: 7 haiku collections in Danish, 3 haiku collections in English, and 2 manuals on how to write haiku, coauthored with Sys Matthisen and Pia Valentin respectively. She was the founder (2001) and still chairs the Haiku Group of the Danish Authors' Society. She resides in Copenhagen.

Helge Krarup (born November 12, 1949, Odense, Denmark), retired upper secondary school teacher, writer, and translator. In 1983 he made his debut with a collection of poetry and a book about the poet Peter Laugesen. He has since written drama, books on art, cinema, and other themes. Krarup is chairman of the Dansk-Svensk Forfatterselskab (Danish-Swedish Writers Association), member of the Haiku Group of the Danish Authors’ Society, and moderator of haiku readings at the Japanese Sakura Festival in Copenhagen. Madumsuiten (Madum Suite), his book of haiku with paintings by Erik Styrbjørn Pedersen, was published in 2016. He resides in Copenhagen. 

Johannes S. H. Bjerg (born Søren Hubert Olsen, March 21, 1957, Copenhagen, Denmark), poet, editor, and visual artist. Founder and editor of “Bones—journal for the short verse,” and editor of “The Other Bunny—for the other kind of haibun.” Editor of one-line and gendai haiku (ku) sections at Under the Basho. Bjerg has published several print chapbooks and e-books in Danish and English as well as a longer collection of topical haiku, Penguins / Pingviner (2011). He resides in Højby, Denmark.

Mona Larsen (born Mona Ellinor Larsen, 1948, Copenhagen, Denmark), jazz singer, composer, and lyricist. Member of the Danish Writers' Association, Poetry and Haiku group since 2004. Larsen published her first haiku collection Bladene Drypper (The Leaves Drip), in 2007. She self-published 25 haiku in English and Danish, 2014, Peace in Ghent, 2015. She has been included in anthologies such as Handmade in Wingland, 2008, Blade i vinden, (Leaves in the wind) 2011, Danish Haiku Today 2012, Special Haiku Publication for Herman Van Rompuy, 2012, A Thousand Cranes – Haiku Peace in Ghent, 2015. Larsen won first prize in the Swedish Haiku Society’s Project in Journal Blå Eld, 2 2016. Resides in Charlottenlund, Denmark.
