Barnabas Ikeoluwa Adeleke
Barnabas Ikeoluwa Adeleke (Yoruba: Barnabas Ìkẹ́olúwa Adélékè, born October 7, 1990, Oyan, Osun State, Nigeria), nature photographer, pencil artist, short story writer, and haiku poet. He has published his haiku in journals worldwide, including Cattails, Frogpond, Presence, Akitsu Quarterly, Acorn, Chrysanthemum, and The Mamba. He has won awards in the Japan-Russia Haiku Contest, the Haiku International Association Haiku Contest, the International Kusamakura Haiku Contest, and the Jane Reichhold International Haiku Prize as well as best-of-issue awards in The Heron’s Nest and Modern Haiku. A chapbook,Too Small for Meat, was released in 2019. Adeleke resides in Okuku, Osun State, Nigeria.
