Sangita Kalarickal (born Bombay, India), physicist, writer and haikai poet. Her work has been included in e-magazines, anthologies, and many haikai publications. Published Mamina (2023) and Light and Line Drawings (2026). Since 2025 has served as editor-in-chief of Drifting Sands Haibun Journal. Nominated for a Touchstone Award every year since 2023 and a Pushcart Prize (2024). Received the Gifted Poet Award from the Women Empowered Group (2024). Member of the British Haiku Society, Haiku Society of America, and Tanka Society of America. Resides in Eden Prairie, Minnesota.
