Pia Valentin Sørensen (born September 20, 1967, Holbæk, Denmark), former medical secretary, now digital artist, poet, and author. Her work has been included in a number of anthologies, and she has published several poetry collections, including 117 zoologiske senryu (2010; 117 Zoological Senryu) intended for young readers and adults. She was also coauthor with Hanne Hansen of Haiku for skoleelever (2017; Haiku for Schoolchildren), a book for middle school on how to write haiku. Sørensen is editor of the homepage of HaikuDanmark, the Haiku Group of the Danish Authors Society. She resides in Copenhagen.
