Celia Jane Stuart-Powles, (born August 6, 1949, Tulsa, Oklahoma, U.S.A.), retired in 2016 as an electrical and instrumentation (E&I) designer. Member of Haiku Canada and the Haiku Society of America and founding member of the Tanka Society of America. Published in journals that include Albatross, Frogpond, Haiku Headlines, Haiku International (HI), Modern Haiku, Persimmon, and Still, and in several haiku and tanka anthologies. Received a Museum of Haiku Literature Award in 1997 and placed in numerous other contests. Resides in Tulsa.
