Svetla Pacheva-Karabova (Светла Пачева-Карабова), born September 26, 1952, Plovdiv, Bulgaria, poet, teacher, and cognitive linguist. Has taught English, Czech, and Bulgarian and served as associate professor, section head, and department director at Plovdiv Medical University. Member and vice chair of the Haiku Club Plovdiv; member of the Bulgarian Haiku Union and the Union of Scientists in Bulgaria. Resides in Plovdiv.
