Sydell Rosenberg, (born Sydell Lorraine Gasnick, December 15, 1929, Manhattan, New York, U.S.A.; died October 11, 1996, Jamaica, Queens, N.Y.), pioneering American haiku poet. Charter member of the Haiku Society of America; served one year as secretary of the society and two terms as a judge of its Merit Book Awards selection committee. Last lived in Queens, New York.
