Tanya McDonald
Tanya McDonald (born Tanya Matthews, January 13, 1975, Salem, Oregon, U.S.A.), American writer, editor, and haiku poet. Served as the Haiku Society of America’s Washington State Region coordinator and president of Haiku Northwest. Since 2008 she has published haiku, senryu, tanka, haibun, and rengay in journals and anthologies, and judged haiku and rengay contests. She won a Touchstone Award for Individual Poems in 2018. The following year she edited the Haiku Society of America members’ anthology A Moment’s Longing and in 2020 launched the biannual print journal Kingfisher. She resides in Woodinville, Washington.
